- ABOUT THE GIRL -
My name is Cherry, and I'm 18 years old and a Canadian first-year student studying life sciences. I'm Chinese, Liberal (or pro-Democratic), and atheist. My passion is writing, and I may pursue it professionally with psychology in the future. I'm also a major perfectionist at heart.
While I don't write as much as I used to, I still participate actively in a variety of fanfiction communities as a reader and a reviewer. Currently, I've been most interested in Super Junior and Dong Bang Shin Ki fanfic, though my other fandoms include: 24, Alias, America's Best Dance Crew, Battlestar Galactica, Burn Notice, Card Captor Sakura, Cowboy Bebop, Cruel Intentions, Dancing with the Stars, Death Note, Gossip Girl, Gundam SEED, Final Fantasy, Harry Potter, Heroes, High School Musical, Inuyasha, Kingdom Hearts, Naruto, Neon Genesis Evangelion, One Tree Hill, Supernatural, and The Vision of Escaflowne.
I'm also an avid music lover. I listen to a mix of English, Japanese, and Korean songs. Some of my current favorite artists include: AnyBand, Apocalyptica, Ayumi Hamasaki, BoA, Chris Brown, Chris Daughtry, Christina Aguilera, Dong Bang Shin Ki, Evanescence, Ivy, Justin Timberlake, Kumi Koda, Leona Lewis, Linkin Park, m-flo, Michelle Branch, Minwoo Lee, Namie Amuro, Nelly Furtado, The Pussycat Dolls, Sugababes, Super Junior, Timbaland, T.M. Revolution, Turbo, and Utada Hikaru.
Aside from writing and music, I actively play on Neopets (a virtual pet site) under the same username. I like to make graphics in my spare time, and I used to participate in icontests. I've also been collecting DVDs for about a decade now, so I'm interested in all sorts of anime, movies, and TV shows.

![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) hug______ - Currently one of my favorites, it is the most active Dong Bang Shin Ki (DBSK) fanfic one yet. Posts are daily, and there are a variety of pairings there, though most of it is slash fanfic.
_starcandy - This is LJ fanfic community for the DBSK pairing, Kim Jaejoong and Shim Changmin, a.k.a. JaeMin. It's the community I hang out most often as of late, and it contains fanfic of all genres.
miracle______ - I consider this the Super Junior equivalent of hug______. It has an amazing archive system as well, according to pairings and ratings, which is pretty useful given how many pairings can be made with 13 (+2 = 15) members. Most of the fics in this community are slash as well.
- FRIENDING POLICY -
If you want to friend me, I don't mind as long as you are active and open-minded. Hopefully, we share some interests in common! If you come from one of the LJ communities that I hang around regularly, and I've talked to you before, I'd be more than happy to be friends.
